Taylor D1 Western Style Small Side Plate

£12.00Price

This small side plate is handmade of high quality with a beautiful smooth enamel layer, the patterns on the product are 100% hand-painted and there are two sizes for you to choose from (dinner and small side).

Signature cobalt blue wide lines feature on our Taylor D1 design - which is complemented by D1.

Ethically and sustainably made in a female owned pottery outside Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, each piece is hand crafted and colour, pattern, and texture may vary slightly due to the artisanal process.

Tested for food and safety hygiene, the plates are both durable and beautiful and the ceramic material is fired at high temperatures and does not contain toxic substances, or use any shading agents. The beautiful smooth enamel layer makes it easy to clean after use. The plates also retain heat and resist heat well.

Tuhu is a female owned handcrafted ceramics brand founded in Vietnam in 2017. Their goal is to infuse the beautiful traditional Laitieu's stoneware with a contemporary spirit for the modern home.

The Indigo Blue that runs through the collection was inspired by the famous Southern Vietnam ceramics of Lai Lhieu and Song Be.

Tuhu owns an independent pottery and works parallel with local family factories and young local artists.  They are supported to have better lives and a new perspective about Vietnam’s ceramic industry.
